Our research follows the principle of autonomy within the framework of Higher Education, implementing online tandems and student recordings to analyze discourse patterns.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eThe chapters in this issue present original studies based on corpus data from the L3Task project. These studies showcase findings and introduce innovative research paradigms and instruments that strengthen the teaching and research methodology in online tandem practice for third language learning.\u003cbr\u003e\u003cbr\u003eTelecollaboration offers a rich environment for language learners to engage in authentic communication, develop cultural awareness, and enhance language proficiency.
