This volume includes seven chapters that detail advances in environmental research. Chapter one explores the dual role of zooplankton in ecosystem monitoring and ecotoxicological evaluation, with a particular focus on Daphnia spp., a widely used model organism in toxicological studies. Chapter two evaluates the role of children in transformation by discussing school and family visits to Hare Krishna eco-farms in Europe. Chapter three offers a critical, evidence-based assessment of the environmental dispersion of lead in soil, water, air, flora and fauna, examining the failures in post-consumption management and regulatory enforcement. Chapter four presents the necessity of basic knowledge relating to fluoride in water, diets in our daily lives, and other environmental matrices to avoid chronic diseases due to fluoride. Chapter five focuses on a literature review and a field survey to analyze the policy impact on CSAF, with the aim of recommending alternative solutions for climate-smart agroforestry (CSAF) development. Chapter six examines the fundamental requirements governing microalgae cultivation, with particular emphasis on nutrient uptake dynamics and the associated physicochemical changes in the culture medium, including ionization processes, solubility, bioavailability, and the pH-driven speciation of key elements. Chapter seven introduces a biomimetics-driven framework, referred to as the 4M model (Manage, Match, Model, Measure), which guides both design thinking and professional practice.
