Bing is excited to visit his best friend, Sula, today, but unfortunately, he has a cold and cannot go out to play. Flop, Bing's stuffed animal friend, warns him that if he goes, he might spread his snotty germs to Sula, and they don't want that. Bing is disappointed but understands Flop's concern. He decides to stay home and rest instead of going to see Sula.
However, Bing's curiosity and determination to see Sula won't let him stay home all day. He comes up with a clever plan to visit Sula without spreading his germs. He wears a mask and gloves and even washes his hands thoroughly before leaving.
When Bing arrives at Sula's house, he is surprised to find her waiting for him outside. Sula is happy to see Bing, even though he is wearing a mask and gloves. They play together inside, with Bing carefully not touching Sula or sharing any of his toys.
Through this experience, Bing learns the importance of not sharing germs, dealing with disappointment, and the uplifting power of friendship. He realizes that even though he couldn't go out to play, he still had a great time with Sula and made new memories.
This picture book is a wonderful addition to the Bing! animated series, teaching children valuable lessons about hygiene, friendship, and resilience. It is a must-read for any Bing fan and a great way to encourage children to stay healthy and safe during these challenging times.
