Captain Bevel is a nationally recognized expert in bloodstain pattern analysis and has published numerous articles and books on the subject. He is a member of the American Society of Crime Scene Investigators, the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts, and the International Association for Identification.

Ross M. Gardner is a 25-year veteran of the Los Angeles County Sheriff's Department, where he currently serves as a Supervising Criminalist in the Homicide Bureau. He has been involved in more than 2,000 crime scenes and has testified in court more than 50 times. Captain Gardner is a nationally recognized expert in bloodstain pattern analysis and has published numerous articles and books on the subject. He is a member of the American Society of Crime Scene Investigators, the International Association of Bloodstain Pattern Analysts, and the International Association for Identification.
