An epic fantasy adventure unfolds in an alternate medieval Japan, where humans coexist with the mythic half-man, half-horse beasts known as centaurs, or jinba. In ancient times, the centaur race was revered as deities, but with the advent of the sengoku period, humans began to enslave and utilize them for military purposes due to their remarkable speed, stamina, and ability to communicate in human language. The plains centaurs faced swift subjugation, while a significant number of centaurs residing in the mountains managed to remain free due to their relative isolation.
A fierce and resilient warrior jinba, named Matsukaze, hailed from the mountains and was known as the redheaded rock tiger. He was caught while valiantly protecting his son and was subsequently traded to a feudal lord, leading him to his land. There, he encountered another centaur, Kohibari, whose village had been burnt down in his childhood. Kohibari was a tamed centaur, who had lost his arms as a result of his capture and had given up all hope of escaping his human captors.
However, if they can overcome their differences and unite their strengths, there is a chance that they may reclaim their freedom and return to the untamed wilderness as free centaurs. The journey ahead will be filled with challenges, treachery, and unexpected alliances, as the two centaurs navigate the complex web of politics, power, and revenge that unfolds in the feudal lord's domain. With their unique abilities and unwavering determination, they may just be able to rewrite their destiny and forge a new path to freedom and glory.
