Spencer finds himself captivated by Eddy's charm, while Bijou expresses discontent with the sudden upheaval in her clan's dynamics. The townspeople, initially unwelcoming, become even more hostile when Eddy purchases the town's historic firehouse with the intention of opening a bakery. Threats are levied against Eddy, casting a shadow over his aspirations.
On the night of the bakery's grand opening, a tragic murder/dognapping takes place, leaving Bijou intertwined in a perplexing mystery.
