A growing body of literature is currently delving into the emergence of a novel migratory profile: migrants engaged in Transnational Entrepreneurship, which encompasses immigrants who partake in cross-border business ventures, involving both their country of origin and destination, which are perceived as lands of opportunity. To date, limited efforts have been made to connect business studies and migration studies in this specific area of research on diaspora politics and Transnational Entrepreneurship. Furthermore, the primary focus has largely been on identifying the key independent variables, patterns, and developing hypotheses regarding the factors that promote or hinder migrant business involvement in their country of residence alone. This book serves as a compilation of the primary findings from the European Horizon–2020–RISE Project DiasporaLink, a multidisciplinary endeavor that has brought together the foremost scholars in their respective fields. The project is grounded in a diverse range of empirical evidence highlighting the impact of Transnational Entrepreneurship. The book aims to explore the emerging global social pattern of entrepreneurs engaging in transborder business ventures. The chapters in this book were initially published as a special issue of the Journal of Ethnic and Migration Studies.
