The primary diseases transmitted to humans by ticks can be categorized as Crimean Congo Hemorrhagic Fever (CCHF), Lyme disease, Q fever, Tick-borne encephalitis, Mediterranean spotted fever, Monocytic ehrlichiosis, Granulocytic ehrlichiosis, Babesiosis. In addition to causing severe health issues in humans, ticks also result in substantial economic losses for livestock. This group of diseases is more widespread than previously believed and can manifest as chronic conditions or progress to severe stages, potentially leading to fatal outcomes without proper diagnosis. Tick-borne diseases exhibit remarkable biological and clinical diversity, often presenting with non-specific symptoms, making accurate identification and appropriate treatment challenging. Our objective was to delve into these diseases in depth from a clinical perspective, providing support for the medical literature surrounding them.
