Carole Ann Ford narrates the TV soundtrack of "The Time Machine," set on board the TARDIS. The Doctor, Susan, Ian Chesterton, and Barbara Wright become suspicious of each other and tensions rise as the TARDIS tries to tell them something. The soundtrack was written by David Whitaker and first broadcast in 1964.

Escaping from their previous adventure on Skaro, the Doctor, Susan, Ian Chesterton (William Russell) and Barbara Wright (Jacqueline Hill) find themselves inside the TARDIS when it appears to be taken over by an outside force. Bewildered and confused, the travelers become suspicious of each other's motives, and tensions within the Ship begin to rise. The TARDIS, which seems to be trying to communicate something to them, is hurtling backward in Time towards destruction, leaving the Doctor with very little idea of how to stop it.
Carole Ann Ford, who played Susan in the BBC TV series, narrates the visual action, and in a bonus interview, she recalls making the TV episodes, which were written by David Whitaker and first broadcast in February 1964. The TV soundtrack has been digitally remastered by Mark Ayres, and the audio edition was written and produced by David Darlington. The executive producer of this audio edition is Michael Stevens.
