Solo finds Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor with the TARDIS all to himself, but not for long. The Doctor takes the TARDIS to the Recusary, a monastery-like retreat on Gallifrey's moon, but he arrives at an inauspicious time. Something else is visiting the Recusary, and it hasn't brought a book with it, but death. The Doctor has to solve the mystery of the Ravencliff Witch's appearances to prevent a catastrophe, with the help of Margaret Hopwood, a renowned sculptor destined to play a big part in his life.

Solo, the Fourth Doctor, discovers the TARDIS all to himself, but his solitude is short-lived. Accompanied by the mysterious Dischord Grimoire, he ventures to the secluded Recusary, a monastery-like retreat on the moon of Gallifrey. However, his arrival coincides with an unexpected visitor—a sinister presence that brings death instead of a book.

In "The Ravencliff Witch," the TARDIS lands in Ravencliff, a small town on the English coast haunted by the spectral figure of the Ravencliff witch. The Doctor must unravel the mystery of her appearances and prevent a catastrophic disaster with the help of Margaret Hopwood, a renowned sculptor destined to play a significant role in his life.

The cast includes Tom Baker as the Doctor, Nerys Hughes as Margaret Hopwood, Annette Badland as Eminent Sedanya, Nicholas Briggs as John Fairweather, Trevor Cooper as Silas Keynes, James Dreyfus as The Master/Haku/Cohort/Mandelbrot, Richard Earl as Gordon Miles, Susan Kyd as Codal Thark, Adrian Lukis as Ansillon, Christopher Naylor as Cohort 2/Honourable Loric, Emma Noakes as Elanora, Lucy Pickles as Celia Banks, Dell Segal as Amanda Keynes, and Jane Slavin as Cohort 1/Honourable Aligen.
