Exam tips have been re-focused to offer advice to students of all abilities, and the 'Preparing for your exam' chapters have been thoroughly rewritten with answers and commentary for students working towards a grade 5. New artworks have been added to make explanations more visual.

We have collaborated with educators to create modified versions of our core textbooks that include reduced content and language complexity, offering enhanced support and enabling students of various abilities to progress. These foundation versions are now available for the seven most popular options, and they serve to make the GCSE content more accessible and user-friendly.

To enhance accessibility, we have taken several measures. Firstly, we have simplified the language by eliminating complex words or phrases whenever feasible. Each title has undergone a reading age assessment by a language expert to ensure its suitability for students of different ages.

Our foundation versions are designed to be seamlessly integrated with the core GCSE textbooks in a mixed-ability classroom setting. The content is organized in a way that allows for simultaneous use of both versions, enabling students to benefit from a diverse range of learning materials.

To further aid comprehension, we have included key term boxes that provide definitions of important words, ensuring that these concepts are reinforced throughout the books. We have also streamlined the explanations to make them more accessible to students targeting a grade 5 or below. Where possible, we have replaced lengthy paragraphs of text with visual aids such as flow diagrams, mind maps, or charts, reducing the amount of text on each page and making the content more engaging.

To reduce the workload and enhance the accessibility of the activities, we have adjusted the level of demand. We have also removed some of the more challenging tasks to ensure that students of all abilities can participate and achieve success.

Furthermore, we have re-focused our exam tips to provide guidance that is tailored to students of varying abilities. We have thoroughly rewritten the 'Preparing for your exam' chapters, including answers and commentary, to assist students in achieving a grade 5. Additionally, new artworks have been added to enhance the visual explanations and make the content more visually appealing.
