The spaniel escaped from a gang he was involved with. The penguin arrived by boat, with his background remaining unknown.

Despite their diverse backgrounds, these characters form a strong friendship. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when they encounter a cat, who is a city broker. This encounter changes everything for them, and Matthew's memories of these events become even more vivid.
