Matthew Weldon has been ill, locked in a coma with visions. Matthew Weldon has been in a coma, experiencing visions that feel so real, it's as if he's lived them. There's no earthly explanation for this phenomenon. The truth is that the vulnerable are always the first to be experimented on. However, our galactic researchers underestimate the power of our minds when they attempt to implant life patterns to observe our behavior.

Matthew discovers this when he sits down to write down the adventures he's experienced within his mind. The life pattern involved four characters from the animal world: a rabbit, a badger, a spaniel, and a penguin. All of them were homeless for different reasons. The rabbit was abandoned by her commune's elders and found shelter in an empty garden house in the village. The badger was a financial adviser who lost his job at a city bank and ended up homeless. The spaniel escaped from a gang he was involved with. The penguin arrived by boat, with his background remaining unknown.

Despite their diverse backgrounds, these characters form a strong friendship. However, their lives take a dramatic turn when they encounter a cat, who is a city broker. This encounter changes everything for them, and Matthew's memories of these events become even more vivid.

But what does this mean for our galactic visitors? And what does it mean for Matthew himself? These are the questions that intrigue our protagonist as he continues to navigate his newfound abilities and the mysteries surrounding his coma.
