Into Enemy Waters is a captivating World War II narrative that pays homage to the bravery and camaraderie of Unbroken, The Right Stuff, and Band of Brothers. Set against the backdrop of the war, the film delves into the remarkable story of 95-year-old veteran George Morgan and the Underwater Demolition Teams, the forerunners of the Navy SEALs. These elite units were tasked with nearly impossible pre-invasion missions from D-Day to the most crucial landings in the Pacific Theater.

The film takes viewers on a journey through the origins and heroic missions of the Underwater Demolition Teams. George Morgan, a wiry 17-year-old lifeguard from New Jersey, joined the Navy's new combat demolition unit at the onset of the war. His first assignment was Omaha Beach on D-Day, where he faced the daunting task of blowing up enemy coastal defenses ahead of Allied forces.

However, Morgan's service was far from over. Outfitted with swim trunks, a dive mask, and fins, he was sent to Hawaii and then on to deployments in the Pacific as a member of the elite and pioneering Underwater Demolition Teams. GIs referred to them as half fish, half nuts, but today, we know them as frogmen—and Navy SEALS.

Led by maverick Naval Reserve Officer Draper Kauffman, Morgan and his fellow frogmen spent the fierce final year of the war swimming up to enemy-controlled beaches to gather intel and detonate underwater barriers. They faced treacherous conditions, including shark infested reefs, freezing seas, and elaborate enemy island defenses. From the black sand beaches of Iwo Jima to the shark-infested reefs of Okinawa, to the cold seas of Tokyo Bay, George Morgan was there before most, fighting for his life and for the freedom of all.

Into Enemy Waters is a testament to the indomitable human spirit and the unwavering determination of those who served during World War II. The film showcases the bravery, skill, and sacrifice of George Morgan and his fellow frogmen, who risked their lives to protect their country and allies. It is a story that reminds us of the importance of honor, duty, and camaraderie, and of the sacrifices made by those who have served our nation.
