This comprehensive book delves into a vast array of cases that were brought before the Permanent Court of International Justice (PCIJ) from 1922 to 1946, as well as those that were subsequently heard by its successor, the International Court of Justice (ICJ) from 1946 to 2020. Within these cases, the focus lies in examining interim measures of protection, whether they were indicated or refused. The author's innovative approach is to present all matters brought before both the PCIJ and ICJ in their entirety, while also highlighting the recent developments and reforms introduced by the ICJ. The book is specifically tailored to law students, lecturers, and professionals engaged in the field of international law.
