Once upon a time, there reigned a king who loathed bath time to the core, resulting in him never washing. As a consequence, he exuded an unpleasant odor, making him a rather unappealing ruler. Despite numerous attempts by his subjects to persuade him to bathe in the river, the king remained steadfast in his refusal. However, one day, he was finally convinced to take a dip in the river. To everyone's surprise, no matter how meticulously he scrubbed the rest of his body, his feet remained caked in dirt.

Determined to address this issue, the people of the land embarked on a mission to sweep away every speck of dirt from every corner of the kingdom. They worked tirelessly, day and night, until the air was finally free from dust. However, their efforts were short-lived, as the dust soon began to wash away, leading to a flood that engulfed the land.

In a desperate attempt to protect their kingdom, the people stitched an enormous tapestry to cover the entire land. While this provided some temporary relief, it also had a detrimental effect on the land, as it hindered the growth of any vegetation.

As the situation worsened, the king sought the help of an old man, who emerged with leather and a pair of scissors. To the king's astonishment, the old man proceeded to create the first-ever pair of shoes. The king was amazed by the old man's ingenuity and wondered how he had managed to solve such a complex problem.

With the creation of the shoes, the people of the land were able to walk freely without the fear of getting their feet dirty. The king was grateful to the old man for his wisdom and thanked him for his assistance. From that day forward, the people of the land celebrated the invention of the shoes, and the king became known as the ruler who had brought prosperity and happiness to his kingdom.
