In 2015, archaeologists made a remarkable discovery at Dalfsen, the Netherlands. They uncovered a burial ground dating back to the TRB period (3000-2750 BC) that contained 141 burial pits. The TRB period is the last phase of the Middle Neolithic period and is renowned for its megalithic monuments, which are prevalent throughout northern Europe.
