Louis, a young street magician, is preparing for his show but is unable to locate his rabbit. He searches his hat, only to find a bouquet of flowers that a passing woman catches. He looks under his cups, only to find dozens of balls that are snatched by a group of kids. An endless string of scarves emerges from his sleeve and wraps around the neck of a posh lady.
With each trick, Louis's audience grows, and he is unaware of the brilliance of his show. However, he cannot find his rabbit, which is causing him frustration.
Finally, Louis looks in his bag and climbs inside. He disappears, leaving the audience in suspense.
Suddenly, POOF! Louis reappears on the table in a puff of smoke. The audience erupts in a roar of applause. Louis, bemused, notices them for the first time and takes off his cap to take a bow.
To his surprise, the rabbit is sitting on his head. This unexpected twist adds a humorous and empowering element to the story, as Louis realizes his own talents and the diverse community he has created around him.
The story teaches us that sometimes, our own abilities and talents may go unnoticed, but with perseverance and a bit of imagination, we can create something extraordinary. It also highlights the importance of community and the joy that can be found in sharing our passions with others.
