On Christmas morning, a magnificent, red-wrapped gift sits beneath the tree. But it isn't for Esme. And it isn't for Bear. So they set out to find the rightful owner. Little do they know that it's the greatest gift in all the world.

The gift, a beautiful wooden carving of a snowman, is unlike anything they've ever seen. It's intricately detailed, with a carrot nose, a button eye, and a smile that stretches from ear to ear. As they examine the gift, they can't help but feel a sense of wonder and excitement.

Esme and Bear decide to take the gift to the local toy store to see if anyone has lost it. The store owner, Mr. Jenkins, is a kind-hearted man who takes a look at the gift and shakes his head.

"I'm sorry, kids," he says. "But this gift is special. It's not for sale. It's meant for someone special."

Esme and Bear are disappointed, but they're determined to find the rightful owner of the gift. They decide to post a flyer in the neighborhood, asking if anyone has lost a snowman carving.

To their surprise, the flyer attracts the attention of a young girl named Lily. She tells them that she lost the gift a few days ago when she was out shopping with her mother.

Esme and Bear are overjoyed. They bring the gift back to Lily, and she is ecstatic. She hugs them tightly and thanks them for finding it.

As they walk away, Esme and Bear can't help but feel a sense of warmth and happiness. They've discovered the true meaning of Christmas - the gift of friendship and the joy of giving.

The moral of the story is that sometimes, the greatest gifts in life are not material possessions. They are the friendships we make, the love we share, and the memories we create. Christmas is a time to celebrate these gifts and to be grateful for the people in our lives who bring us joy and happiness.
