In 1978, Nestor Perkal embarked on a new chapter by leaving his native Argentina and settling in France. Simultaneously, he ventured into the world of galleries, becoming the pioneering representative of the Memphis movement. His creations were showcased at the prestigious exhibition "Life with Colours" at the Cartier Foundation in 1985.

Next, Nestor Perkal relocated to Limoges, where he assumed the role of director at the Craft, a research center dedicated to the art of ceramic making. Within this vibrant community, he collaborated with a diverse range of creative minds, including designers, artists, manufacturers, sponsors, and collectors. His artistic growth and influence continued to unfold as he played a pivotal role in promoting and producing the work of contemporary designers, architects, and artists.
