The study of a body of texts written in French, Spanish, Catalan, and Dutch by Judeo-Moroccan authors is the first to be done in this comparative study. It seeks to re-conceptualize the idea of a 'Moroccan literature' with regard to the transnational and multilingual experiences from which it arises, drawing on theoretical insights from Fatima Mernissi and Abdelmalek Sayad.
