Seven years have passed since the disastrous events of BOOK 1, and now it's time for Sibylla to face her curse-breaking destiny. When Troll Kingdom soldiers arrive in the once-safe town of Fiskeby, she's forced to flee up the Glass Mountain. But the moment she steps foot on Troll lands, she's thrown into a jail cell, where she discovers her amnesiac ex-fiancé is set to wed the Troll Queen's daughter. Using all of her wits, she must convince the princess to turn against her own mother, or else face execution on the day of the wedding and doom the kingdom to remain cursed forever.
Sibylla has been on the run for seven years, trying to escape the curse that has been placed upon her. She has been living in fear, always looking over her shoulder, waiting for the day when the Troll Kingdom soldiers would find her. But when they finally do, she is forced to flee up the Glass Mountain, with no way out.
As she climbs higher and higher, Sibylla can feel the weight of the curse pressing down on her. She knows that if she doesn't find a way to break it, the kingdom will remain cursed forever. She also knows that she has to face her ex-fiancé, who is set to wed the Troll Queen's daughter.
Sibylla is determined to save the kingdom, no matter what it takes. She uses all of her wits to convince the princess to turn against her own mother, and to stop the wedding from taking place. But the princess is not easily swayed, and Sibylla finds herself facing execution on the day of the wedding.
Just as all seems lost, Sibylla is rescued by a group of rebels who are fighting against the Troll Kingdom. They believe in her and in her mission to break the curse. With their help, Sibylla is able to confront her ex-fiancé and to stop the wedding from taking place.
In the end, Sibylla is able to break the curse and save the kingdom. She is hailed as a hero, and the people of the kingdom are grateful to her for her bravery and determination. Sibylla knows that she has made a difference, and that she has finally found the peace that she has been searching for all these years.
