St. Rita's School for Spirited Girls is buzzing with excitement as a new term begins, and the trio of Emily, Daphne, and George is ready to dive into a series of thrilling mysteries. The school has a new addition to its curriculum: solving mysteries!

The first mystery to unravel is the theft of a painting from Pilkington Art Gallery. The painting, although not considered a masterpiece, holds sentimental value for the gallery's owner, Mr. Pilkington. The girls are determined to find out who stole the painting and why.

As they investigate, they discover that the theft is linked to a mysterious organization called the "Art Thieves." The Art Thieves are a group of skilled art thieves who target valuable paintings and sculptures for their personal gain. Emily, Daphne, and George must use their detective skills to catch the Art Thieves and retrieve the stolen painting.

The second mystery the girls face is the arrival of a new headmistress, Miss Charlotte. Miss Charlotte is a strict and authoritarian figure who threatens the future of the school's library. She has implemented a series of rules and regulations that limit the students' access to books and resources, and she has even proposed closing the library altogether.

Emily, Daphne, and George are determined to fight back against Miss Charlotte's plans. They organize a protest against her policies and rally support from their fellow students and faculty members. Through their efforts, they are able to convince Miss Charlotte to reconsider her decision and preserve the library.

However, their victory is short-lived. The girls discover that the cows that have been grazing on the school's sports field are not ordinary cows. They are actually genetically modified cows that are being used for scientific research. The research is being conducted by a group of scientists who are trying to create a new breed of cow that is more resistant to diseases and pests.

Emily, Daphne, and George are horrified by the discovery and realize that the sports field is not a safe place for their classmates to play. They work with the school's administration to shut down the research and remove the cows from the field.

Through their adventures, Emily, Daphne, and George learn valuable lessons about friendship, courage, and standing up for what is right. They also discover that solving mysteries is not just about finding answers, but also about the journey and the people they meet along the way.

As the new term continues, the girls are excited to see what other mysteries and challenges await them at St. Rita's School for Spirited Girls. They are confident that they will face each challenge with determination, ingenuity, and a spirit of adventure, just like the spirited girls who have gone before them.
