The research identifies continuing structural challenges, including the costs of translation, limited linguistic and cultural diversity within publishing teams, and the dominance of a few internationally recognised authors. It also highlights the role of independent presses, literary prizes, and digital platforms in expanding visibility and readership. By situating these findings within debates on cultural diversity, symbolic capital, and global circulation, the study demonstrates how translated fiction reflects and reshapes contemporary publishing practices, contributing to a more inclusive and internationally connected literary landscape.
