In an attempt to escape their circumstances, Lauren and Brandon resort to drinking and substance abuse, further exacerbating their already fragile mental health. Their lives are plagued by incidents of theft, overdoses, psychiatric ward stays, and arrests stemming from misunderstandings. Amidst this turmoil, Brandon discovers a source of solace in connecting with nature. He finds peace by camping in the picturesque Lake District and embarking on a boat ride along the majestic Swiss Alps.
