Mr. Gray is a stern and serious man in charge of a very serious museum filled with stuffed animals. The Dead Zoo has strict rules: no talking, no laughing, no running around, and absolutely no touching the animals. Everything is going smoothly until one day, a very live mouse moves in!
At first, Mr. Gray is terrified. He has never dealt with a live animal before and doesn't know what to do. But then he remembers the rules of the Dead Zoo and decides to follow them to the letter.
He sets up traps and tries to catch the mouse, but it's too clever for him. The mouse runs around the museum, causing chaos and laughter wherever it goes.
But Mr. Gray is determined to keep the museum orderly. He calls in his friend, a professional mouse catcher, to help him catch the mouse.
Together, they set up a series of traps and finally catch the mouse. Mr. Gray is relieved and proud of himself for following the rules and keeping the museum safe.
The mouse is released back into the wild, but not before Mr. Gray and his friend make a promise to keep the Dead Zoo a safe and fun place for all the stuffed animals.
This story is a reminder that even in the most serious of situations, there is always room for laughter and friendship. It teaches us that rules are important, but they should not be followed blindly. It also shows us that sometimes, the unexpected can bring the most joy and happiness.
