This motivated me to write this book, which emphasizes the importance of logic in chess education. Logic should be included in the process of chess education, as it is often neglected by young players. Experienced players often lead the game out of theory, to places where understanding will prevail over memory and energy. This is my favorite concept against youngsters, as they usually go for dynamics and are good at calculating and memorizing. However, understanding and logic are essential when dealing with static situations on the board.
