Throughout, the poems explore how attention, memory and imagination shape our understanding of the world and of one another. Harry G. de Vries (1961) is a Dutch poet, translator and novelist. He translated selected poems by Philip Larkin into Dutch for Wagner & Van Santen, as well as Middle English poetry into both rhymed Dutch (Het Regiusgedicht, FAMA) and rhymed modern English (The Regius Poem, Lewis Masonic, United Kingdom). He is also the author of the novel Het Horloge van Celis (Celis' Watch) (GiST).
