Once upon a time, there was an old giant who lived in a big house. One day, he was walking in his garden when he saw a beautiful clock. The clock was made of gold and had a big face that looked like it was smiling at him. The giant was so amazed by the clock that he decided to swallow it whole.
The giant had such a shock when he swallowed that clock! He couldn't believe that he had done such a thing. He tried to cough it up, but it was too big to come out. He started to feel sick and dizzy, and he knew that he had to do something to get rid of the clock.
But then, the giant had an idea. He swallowed his knitting to muffle the clock, and then he swallowed some moths to munch through his knitting. He hoped that this would help him to get rid of the clock.
The giant continued to swallow things to try to get rid of the clock. He swallowed a bird, a dog, and even a car. But the clock was still there, and the giant was getting more and more sick.
Finally, the giant realized that he needed to go to the doctor. The doctor was able to remove the clock from the giant's stomach, and the giant was able to recover. He was so grateful to the doctor for helping him, and he promised never to swallow anything again.
From that day on, the giant lived a very boring life. He didn't have any adventures, and he didn't swallow anything else. But he was happy, because he knew that he had learned a valuable lesson. He had learned that it's not a good idea to swallow things that are too big for you.
