Step 1: Prepare your workspace by covering it with newspaper or a plastic sheet to protect it from dye spills.
Step 2: Mix the 5 water-soluble dyes in separate containers according to the instructions provided with the dyes.
Step 3: Soak the clothing items in warm water for about 30 minutes to pre-soak them.
Step 4: Wearing gloves, use the pipettes to apply the different dyes to the clothing items in various patterns and designs.
Step 5: Use rubber bands to tightly wrap the clothing items, creating different shapes and patterns.
Step 6: Place the wrapped clothing items into plastic bags and let them sit for at least 6-8 hours or overnight to allow the dyes to set.
Step 7: Rinse the clothing items thoroughly under cold water until the water runs clear.
Step 8: Wash the clothing items separately in cold water using a mild detergent to remove any remaining dye.
Step 9: Hang the clothing items to dry or tumble dry on low heat.
