There once existed a plentiful population of fish, but suddenly, they vanished without a trace. The mystery surrounding their disappearance remains unsolved, leaving everyone perplexed. Nobody knows where the fish went, and even more confusingly, nobody knows why they vanished. However, since this event occurred, things have never been the same.

In a committee room on Capitol Hill, three senators find themselves tasked with an important responsibility. They must interrogate a man suspected of trading rare marine commodities, and their goal is to uncover any valuable information he might possess. The stakes are high, as this investigation could have far-reaching consequences for both politics and the planet.

Politics and the environment intertwine in this thought-provoking play, written by Marek Horn. Yellowfin explores the boundaries of science, the influence of myths, and the uncontrollable factors that shape our world. The play was first premiered at Southwark Playhouse in London in October 2021, under the direction of Ed Madden.

Through its compelling storyline and powerful performances, Yellowfin sheds light on the complex interplay between human actions, environmental concerns, and the unpredictable nature of the world we live in. It serves as a reminder that even in the face of uncertainty and ambiguity, we must continue to seek answers and work towards a better future for ourselves and the planet.
