What happens when we lose something special? What treasures can be found in everyday life? Little Romko is upset when he first loses his special coin. But he soon realises he has discovered something much more valuable. With humour and imagination, this wonderful Ukrainian-English picture book turns the ordinary into the extraordinary.

Little Romko is a curious and adventurous child who loves to explore the world around him. One day, while playing in the park, he accidentally drops his favorite coin, which he had been carrying around for weeks. He is devastated and can't believe he has lost such a precious item.

However, as he sits down to grieve, he notices something strange happening to the coin. It seems to be glowing and shimmering, and then it disappears into thin air. Little Romko is amazed and intrigued, and he decides to investigate further.

He searches all over the park, but he can't find his coin. He is about to give up when he hears a strange noise coming from the bushes. He cautiously approaches and discovers a small, hidden cave.

Inside the cave, he finds a treasure chest filled with all sorts of amazing objects. There are shiny coins, sparkling jewels, and even a magical wand. Little Romko is overjoyed and can't believe his luck.

As he explores the treasure chest, he realizes that the coin he lost was just a small part of something much bigger. The treasure chest was a symbol of the wonders and treasures that can be found in everyday life.

From that day on, Little Romko became more aware of the beauty and wonder around him. He started to appreciate the small things in life, like the sun shining on his face, the birds singing in the trees, and the smell of fresh flowers. He also became more grateful for the people in his life, like his family and friends, who had helped him along the way.

Little Romko's story is a reminder that even when we lose something special, we can still find something more valuable. It teaches us to be curious, adventurous, and grateful for the world around us. It also shows us that the ordinary can become the extraordinary with a little bit of imagination and humour.
