When Rowland Sinclair volunteers his services as a pilot to fly the renowned international peace advocate, Egon Kisch, between Freemantle and Melbourne, he is unaware of how hard Australia's new Attorney General will fight to keep the reporter off Australian soil. In this, it seems, the government is not alone, as clandestine right-wing militias target Kisch and his supporters.

As Rowland and Egon travel through the outback, they are pursued by a group of armed men who believe that Kisch is a threat to their way of life. Rowland is forced to use his skills as a pilot to outmaneuver their pursuers and protect his passenger.

Meanwhile, the government is using every means at its disposal to try to silence Kisch and his supporters. They have launched a smear campaign against him, and have even gone so far as to arrest and prosecute his supporters on trumped-up charges.

Despite the odds, Rowland and Egon continue to press on with their mission. They know that they are fighting for something that is important and that they cannot give up. They are supported by a network of artists, poets, and sculptresses who believe in their cause and who are willing to do whatever it takes to help them.

As they approach Melbourne, Rowland and Egon are confronted by a group of armed men who are determined to stop them. Rowland is forced to use all of his skills as a pilot to outmaneuver his pursuers and protect his passenger. In the end, Rowland and Egon succeed in their mission, and Kisch is able to deliver his speech to the United Nations.

The story of Rowland Sinclair and Egon Kisch is a powerful reminder of the importance of freedom of speech and the dangers that come with speaking out against injustice. It is a story that will inspire generations to come and a testament to the power of courage and determination in the face of adversity.
