There were three men and two women, all of whom had suffered some form of disfigurement. One had half a face, while another had iron legs. The others all had one or both arms missing, and instead of traditional limbs, they had pincers, claws, and guns. The sound of their ticking weapons filled the air constantly.
Sheba, a wolfgirl, discovered that her old friend Sister Moon was being held prisoner by the Spider and its gang of mechanical villains. The Carnival, a group of supernatural beings, immediately launched a daring rescue mission to Paris. Along with Pyewacket, the witch's imp, and Inji, a catlike creature, Sheba joined forces with Moon's son, Remy, who had the ability to bend shadows to his will.
Deep underground in the catacombs of Paris, they found a map that could be traded for Moon's freedom. However, they soon realized that the Spider was not just any ordinary villain. She was desperate for the map for a mysterious reason, and the Carnival needed to uncover the truth before it was too late.
As the city was under siege from Prussian invaders, the Spider's henchmen were hot on their trail. The Carnival would need to use all their powers to save their friend and prevent the Spider from achieving its evil plans. The journey was treacherous, and the odds were stacked against them, but the Carnival was determined to succeed.
In the end, they were able to rescue Sister Moon and defeat the Spider's henchmen. The Carnival emerged victorious, and Sheba and her friends were hailed as heroes. They had saved the city from destruction and proven that even the most disfigured and powerless individuals could make a difference in the face of adversity.
