A hilarious picture book follows a ravenous badger on a quest for a sandwich, with a wickedly funny twist in the tale.

One day, a boy accidentally drops his sandwich in a sandpit, setting off a wild race for it. The badger, desperate for the sandwich, is just too slow to catch up. As the sandwich is passed from one creature to another, it undergoes a series of mishaps, including being squashed, slithered over, and even devoured by a band of slugs.

With the sandwich slipping away from his grasp, the badger must confront the question: Will he ever get his paws on it, or will it be too disgusting to even consider? Children will delight in the yuck factor of the ending, when the badger ultimately decides to abandon the sandwich in favor of slurping up all the slimy slugs.

Beautifully written with satisfying repetition and a refrain that children will love joining in with, this funny picture book is brought to life with gorgeous illustrations by Hannah Shaw. Each page is filled with quirky details that add to the charm and humor of the story, making it a must-read for anyone who loves a good laugh and a whimsical adventure.
