This book examines the contributions of seven Latin American thinkers who have played a significant role in promoting reconciliation and peace: Carlos Saavedra Lamas, Adolfo Pérez Esquivel, Alfonso García Robles, Óscar Arias Sánchez, Rigoberta Menchú Tum, Juan Manuel Santos, and Javier Pérez de Cuéllar. These thinkers have embraced an eclectic conceptual approach to systematize the circulation of ideas that have shaped their work in the field of Politics and Global International Relations (GIR). The analysis draws on the current literature in leadership and intellectuals in Politics and Global International Relations (GIR) to explore the central premises of mainstream constructivism.
