The Finnish education system has garnered significant attention since its impressive performance in the PISA studies. In recent years, the Finnish school system has been frequently featured in the media as a prime example of significant educational policy challenges. This is particularly true in the context of inclusive education. While limited studies have questioned the Finnish educational miracle, this book aims to provide an objective account of the current situation in Finland. By adopting a differentiated and critical approach, the book examines inclusive schooling in Finland. To achieve this, qualitative research methods are employed to explore the inclusive school and classroom culture in selected Finnish schools. The framework developed by Reich (2014) serves as the criteria for analysis. Based on the findings of this study, the book explores and discusses what Germany and other countries can learn from Finland regarding the topic of inclusion.
