Dr. Vladivoj (Vlado) Valković, a retired professor of physics, holds prestigious fellowships from the American Physical Society and the Institute of Physics (London). With an extensive publication record, he has authored 22 books, ranging from Trace Elements to Radioactivity in the Environment, and has contributed over 400 scientific and technical papers to the fields of nuclear physics, the application of nuclear techniques in biology, medicine, and environmental research. Dr. Valković has a lifelong dedication to studying nuclear reactions induced by 14 MeV neutrons, conducting research through coordination and involvement in numerous national and international projects, including bilateral projects between the US and Croatia, NATO, the IAEA, the EU-FP5, FP6, and FP7.
