Andrijana Ružić, a passionate art enthusiast, holds a degree in History and Criticism of Art from the Universita degli Studi in Milan, Italy. It was during her studies that she fell deeply in love with the captivating medium of animation. Under the guidance of Giannalberto Bendazzis, she specialized in the History of Animated Film, further nurturing her passion for this art form. For the past six years, she has dedicated herself to curating the section dedicated to animated films at the International Comics Festival in Belgrade, Serbia. Additionally, she serves as a member of the Selection Board of Animafest Scanner, a symposium for Contemporary Animation Studies at the World Festival of Animated Film, held annually in Zagreb, Croatia. With a keen interest in animation and art, Andrijana contributes her writings to the Belgrade weekly magazine, Vreme, sharing her insights and perspectives with the readers.
