The Multiplayer Classroom: Game Plans is a companion to The Multiplayer Classroom: Designing Coursework as a Game, now in its second edition from CRC Press. This book explores four real-world multiplayer classroom projects designed to teach and entertain. Funded by grants or institutions, these projects were collaborations between Lee Sheldon, the writer/designer, and subject matter experts from various fields. Written with accessibility in mind, these projects cover diverse subjects such as physical fitness, Mandarin, cybersecurity, and an online class exploring culture and identity on the internet.

Lee Sheldon's writing journey began in television, where he wrote for popular shows like Charlies Angels, Edge of Night, and Star Trek: The Next Generation. With a wealth of experience in both television and video game writing, Lee spearheaded the first full writing for games concentration in North America at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and the second writing concentration at Worcester Polytechnic Institute. He is a sought-after lecturer and consultant on game design and writing, delivering presentations across the United States and internationally.

In addition to his writing career, Lee has also ventured into the world of game development. His most recent commercial game, The Lions Song, received critical acclaim and is currently available on Steam. He has also consulted on an innovative escape room in a box project, funded by NASA, which allows visitors to experience colonizing the moon at hundreds of science museums and planetariums.

Lee Sheldon's dedication to education and innovation in the gaming industry continues to inspire educators and gamers alike. His work demonstrates the potential of game-based learning to engage and educate students in unique and exciting ways.
