Mr Bolton and his faithful dog,George,are just popping down to the shops. He forgot his keys,but Mrs Bolton will be there to let them in like always. But on the way back,George notices something wrong - they turned right when they should have turned left,bringing them farther from home. To make things worse,it s beginning to look like rain.
The old friends set off on a journey across Dublin and through their memories,which seem to be disappearing one by one. They pass by familiar landmarks,but everything seems different now. The streets are empty,the buildings are abandoned,and the sky is dark and foreboding.
As they walk,Mr Bolton and George begin to feel a sense of unease. They can t shake the feeling that they are being followed,and they start to hear strange noises in the distance. Suddenly,George stops and barks loudly,pointing towards a dark alleyway. Mr Bolton follows him,and they see a figure lurking in the shadows.
The figure is wearing a hooded cloak and carrying a large knife. Mr Bolton and George are terrified,but they must act quickly. They run towards the figure,and Mr Bolton tackles it to the ground. The figure struggles,but Mr Bolton manages to hold it down until the police arrive.
The police are able to identify the figure as a serial killer who has been on the loose for years. They thank Mr Bolton and George for their bravery and dedication,and they promise to catch the killer and bring him to justice.
Mr Bolton and George return home,safe and sound. They are grateful for their friendship and the bond that they share,and they know that they will always be there for each other,no matter what challenges may come their way.
