Hyrax is searching for new revenue sources to rebuild after the defeat of the armada and Enskaran counter-attacks. Its interests on Maaraw and Silangan are threatened by revolution and a native uprising, leaving Tirgwenin as the only place left to conquer. Enskaris colony is destroyed, and the governor returns home to beg for relief and rescue. However, Enskari is a different place, with war and a religious purge decimating its contacts and heightened class tension. Sir Ethan Sommerled, the queens lover and savior of the planet, is at the center of the controversy. Morgan must find other allies to return to Tirgwenin, but a third planet, Temple, is also obsessed with Jareths World and is rallied by the prophet to defend civilization in a holy and bloody crusade.

Hyrax, reeling from the devastating defeat of its armada and Enskaran counter-attacks, desperately seeks new sources of revenue to rebuild its shattered empire. The once-prosperous mining operations on Silangan face a crippling native uprising, further exacerbating its financial woes. The occupied worlds, already hemorrhaging resources, succumb to new unrest and instability. With no other options left, Hyrax turns its attention to Tirgwenin, Jareths world, a vast and unclaimed territory.

Enskaris colony, led by the charismatic Alpin Morgan and his separatist sect of Bucklers, is annihilated, leaving the governor stranded and pleading for relief and rescue back home. However, Enskari is a different world altogether, ravaged by war and a devastating religious purge that has strained its connections and intensified class tensions. At the center of this controversy is Sir Ethan Sommerled, the queen's lover and the savior of the planet, once a patron of Morgan. His path is fraught with peril, as he navigates the intricate politics of the court, wielding his power cautiously.

Morgan realizes that he cannot reclaim Tirgwenin alone and must seek alliances with other factions. But there is a third planet that holds a secret obsession with Jareths World. On Temple, the prophet possesses knowledge of the impending threat and rallies the Saved, a group of religious zealots, to embark on a holy and bloody crusade to defend civilization against the impending danger.

As the conflict unfolds, Tirgwenin becomes the focal point of a titanic struggle between Hyrax, Enskari, and the Saved. The fate of the empire hangs in the balance, as each faction battles for control and survival. The prophets prophecy unfolds, and the fate of the galaxy hangs in the balance. Will Hyrax reclaim its lost glory, or will the Saved emerge victorious in their holy crusade? Only time will tell.
