ORDER is a street photography project that explores the reflection of advertising images in human appearances and behaviour in urban life, using a subjective hypothesis and classic street photography methodology. It extracts moments and spaces that dialogue with adverts, showing the opposite message or interpretation of the consequences.

ORDER is a comprehensive body of work spanning from 2014 to 2019, conducted in various megacities worldwide. This project explores a subjective hypothesis about the impact of advertising images on human appearances and behavior in urban life. Drawing inspiration from the classic methodology of street photography, which involves capturing candid scenes without manipulation, Óscar Monzón takes it a step further by extracting moments and spaces that possess scenographic precision and direct dialogue with the ubiquitous adverts in these locations. Initially set aside from the narrative of the project, these adverts are later introduced as animated elements, seamlessly blending with the real and vibrant scenes documented in the project. This integration of animated adverts adds a dynamic and thought-provoking dimension to the work, offering a contrasting message or interpretation of the consequences depicted in the adverts. By merging the real and the virtual, ORDER challenges the viewer's perception of the relationship between advertising and urban life, inviting them to contemplate the impact of visual stimuli on their surroundings.
