Francesco Pesellino (c. 1422–1457) was a Renaissance artist who gained prominence during his lifetime. He was highly sought after by the pope and the ruling Medici family in Florence, resulting in prestigious commissions. Unfortunately, his career was cut short when he passed away at the age of 35.
