Mirai is initially skeptical, but Hana convinces him that he has the potential to be a great god.
Mirai is pitted against 12 other chosen humans in a battle that takes place in a mysterious realm called the Garden of Eden. The Garden is a place where gods and demons can come to train and hone their skills. Mirai must navigate the treacherous terrain of the Garden and face off against his opponents in order to emerge victorious.
As the battle progresses, Mirai begins to realize that he may need to become a devil in order to survive. He is confronted with the dark side of himself and must learn to control it in order to defeat his opponents. Mirai also discovers that Professor Yoneda, who is in control of the god selection process, has a different plan in mind.
Professor Yoneda is a powerful demon who wants to rid humanity of fake gods. He believes that the only way to achieve this is by eliminating the competition. He has been manipulating the other god candidates and using them to his advantage.
Mirai must confront Professor Yoneda and his followers in order to stop them from carrying out their evil plans. He must also come to terms with his own dark side and learn to control it in order to become the next god of the world.
