From the universe of The Incal, soon to be a major motion picture from Taika Waititi (Thor: Love and Thunder, JoJo Rabbit, Our Flag Means Death), comes a dark, sensual thriller that delves into the origin of one of the Metabaron's greatest enemies, the Simak!
The Moon of Hesperia: Phoenix, a gifted but amnesiac policeman, witnesses the murder of his teammate. His investigation takes him to Solar Corona, the city-planet of all debauchery, where he crosses paths with the Simaks – transhumans originally designed for prostitution, who were supposed to have been eradicated due to repeated bugs. However, they discovered something far more sinister in their technology.
In the heart of this violent and corrupt universe, Phoenix's thirst for justice drives him on a trail to uncover the Simaks' origins and their devastating capacity for destruction. As he delves deeper into the mystery, he uncovers a web of lies, betrayal, and conspiracy that threatens to tear the very fabric of the universe apart.
With danger lurking around every corner and his memory slowly returning, Phoenix must navigate through a treacherous world filled with treacherous characters. He must rely on his wits, his instincts, and the help of a few unexpected allies to bring the Simaks to justice and save the universe from their malevolent plans.
The Incal: The Moon of Hesperia: Phoenix is a thrilling and suspenseful journey that will keep you on the edge of your seat until the very end. Prepare to be transported to a world of darkness, where the line between good and evil is blurred, and the fate of the universe hangs in the balance.
