The Slow Ways map is a two-sided, giant, colorful, and functional map that helps people imagine, plan journeys, draw on, use as a companion to the website, mark Slow Ways they plan to walk, record routes they have walked, learn about active travel in schools, and make walls look fantastic. It was kick-started during the first lockdown with hundreds of volunteers suggesting thousands of routes, and now there are over 8,000 routes in the network that cover over 120,000km.
