This book provides a comprehensive overview of various multiple criteria decision-making (MCDM) techniques, quantitative techniques, and interpretive structural modelling. It also discusses the development of new MCDM techniques and the application of these techniques in real-time case studies from two industries. The authors are assistant professors and managers in the field of mechanical engineering and human resources, respectively.

Various Multiple Criteria Decision-Making (MCDM) techniques have been applied in one book, encompassing a comprehensive range of 13 MCDM techniques. These techniques include Weighted Sum Method (WSM), Weighted Product Method (WPM), Weighted Average Method (WASPAS), Grey Relational Analysis (GRA), Simple Multi-Criteria Decision Making (SMART), Critical Ratio Analysis (CRITIC), Entropy Method (EDAS), Multi-Objective Optimization by Ratio Analysis (MOORA), Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP), Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (TOPSIS), Vector Inversion Method for Order Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (VIKOR), and new tools such as Modified Fuzzy TOPSIS and Modified Fuzzy VIKOR. To date, no other book possesses this diverse array of tools.

Quantitative techniques: A diverse range of quantitative techniques have been employed, including Cronbach alpha, Chi-square, and ANOVA (for demographic analysis), Percent Point Score and Central Tendency (response analysis), Factor Analysis, Correlation, and Regression. These techniques are highly valuable for data analysis and interpretation.

Interpretive Structural Modelling (ISM): ISM has been applied to verify MCDM results through MICMAC analysis and ISM models, paving the way for model development through SEM. Structural Equation Modelling (SEM): SEM using AMOS in PASW has been applied for model development.

New MCDM techniques developed: During the qualitative analysis process, new tools have been developed, and their results have been compared with existing MCDM tools. The results are encouraging, highlighting the potential of these new techniques. The new techniques developed are MDEMATEL, Fuzzy MDEMATEL, Modified Fuzzy TOPSIS, and Modified Fuzzy VIKOR.

Qualitative Model Developed: The title of the book, "Sustainable Green Development and Manufacturing Performance through Modern Production Techniques," aptly reflects its focus on the need for sustainable development and manufacturing performance in the modern era. It is particularly relevant in today's context, as industries must maintain their performance while addressing green issues, particularly in the aftermath of the COVID-19 pandemic. To address this, a comprehensive model has been developed that can be valuable to both academicians and industrialists.

Real-time Case Studies: The book includes real-time case studies in two industries, providing practical insights and applications of the MCDM techniques discussed. These case studies showcase the practical utility of the techniques and their ability to address complex decision-making challenges in real-world scenarios.

In conclusion, this book offers a comprehensive and diverse collection of MCDM techniques, quantitative techniques, and interpretive structural modelling approaches. It provides valuable insights and practical applications for decision-makers in various industries, helping them make informed decisions based on multiple criteria and considering both quantitative and qualitative factors. The inclusion of real-time case studies further enhances the book's practicality and relevance.
