Terry O'Neill is widely regarded as one of the most accomplished living photographers today. His exceptional work has been showcased and exhibited in prestigious museums and fine-art galleries across the globe. Among his iconic photographs are those of Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, Brigitte Bardot, Faye Dunaway, and David Bowie, to name just a few. These images have become instantly recognizable worldwide.

Now, for the first time, O'Neill has chosen a selection of images from his vast archive of vintage prints, which is sure to surprise and delight collectors and photography enthusiasts alike.

In the pre-digital era, photographers would send physical prints to newspapers and magazines. These prints were circulated, handled by numerous individuals, stamped on the back, and frequently accompanied by captions. After their usage, the prints were either archived, discarded, or, in the case of a fortunate few, returned to the photographer or their photo agencies.

At the dawn of the 1960s, when O'Neill's career commenced, physical prints were the standard practice. Terry meticulously preserved as many prints as he received back. I just kept everything, he explains. I don't know why. Back then, there was no rationale to retain them. Photos were promptly utilized and then I moved on to the next assignment. No one contemplated the value of these images fifty years later, let alone at the time.

This book presents a collection of hundreds of these rare images, an absolute must-have for Terry's fans and photography enthusiasts.
