This collection of essays represents the third iteration in a series of publications dedicated to exploring the field of Olympic studies, which originated from a collaborative partnership between Western University (Canada), Victoria University, Melbourne (Australia), and the German Sport University Cologne (Germany). However, for this particular volume, a global call for papers was issued to gather a wide range of scholarly perspectives on the topic. The goal was to approach the subject from diverse angles and broaden the horizons of understanding.
