Prince Briar Rose's life hangs in the balance as he slowly transforms into a monster at the hands of the Spindle Witch, forcing treasure hunter Fi to flee from a tower in order to save him. Meanwhile, Shane, her axe-wielding companion, is on the trail of a mysterious weapon that holds the key to the Spindle Witch's demise. However, Shane must also shield her lover, the lovely witch Red, from the Spindle Witch's executioner.

As tensions escalate and alliances crumble, Fi and Shane must reunite, putting their treasure-hunting skills to the ultimate test at the greatest lost ruin of them all: the tomb of the Witch Queen Aurora. Will they finally unravel the thread that binds them all together and defeat the Spindle Witch and her twisted creatures once and for all?
